Communications Vice President: Abbey Finn
Hello BJUSY! My name is Abbey Finn, and I am happy to be serving as your 2017-2018 Communications Vice President. This is my first year in a leadership position within the chapter, but my involvement doesn't begin there! I've grown up surrounded by USY. I started in kadinkers in 3rd grade, and joined USY in 8th grade. It's always been a part of my identity, and I love it! This year, I'm excited to have the opportunity to update our website, increase attendance with our Kadinkers and Kadima programs, as well as USY, through new communication outlooks, and continue to uphold and improve on our various social media platforms. When not doing USY, you can find me in the many other activities that I'm involved in. I attend Buffalo Grove High School, and I am apart of the choir program and partake in the plays and musicals there. I am also the service committee head for student council. I am on the executive board for the Children of Abraham Coalition, an interfaith group working to educate and increase the connections between Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. I am passionate about Judaism and always find more ways to get involved in that aspect of my life. I am delighted to use my leadership skills to improve on many aspects of BJUSY, and I would love to get to know all of you on an individual level! I promise to help take our chapter to new heights, and keep you updated the entire time. Make sure to follow our social media to receive updates and discover new programs!
